A group of delinquent students and their elderly supervisor are led into the Eastern Wing of Hearthglow’s Academy’s Library–where they discover why it has been forbidden to students and teachers for twenty years.

A Sequel to Night at the Forbidden Library, the familiar group of students venture back into the Forbidden Library, in an age past, to quell the looming threat of the school's destruction- through loss of its magic.

The Hearthglow misfits continue their journey after the villainous Vernan Rashard has been brought to justice. Their investigation of his abetters begins as they start to search the dangerous tower of the now-late sorcerer.
