Our Mission

"Clinical Roles: A Table-Top Roleplaying Game for Professional Healthcare Simulations" aims to address the challenges of coordinating Interprofessional Education (IPE) for healthcare students across various disciplines such as Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Nursing in an engaging and inventive fashion. Due to difficulties in aligning curricula and scheduling, current IPE activities often fail to meet the core competencies set by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC). To overcome these issues, the project proposes the development of a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) designed to enhance IPE through engaging, level-appropriate role-playing scenarios. The initial project will pilot the game, involving students from diverse fields such as health professions, art and design, and computer gaming. The aim is to create a comprehensive educational resource that simulates true interdisciplinary teamwork and improves learning outcomes, ultimately seeking further funding for broader implementation.
